Anthony Joshua is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-bout fight which will be shown live on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua said he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "defeat" his opponent as the combatants confronted each other to build hype for the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Ex twice world title holder Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami venue on 19 December.
Fighter's Attitude
"I will damage his features and break his body up. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35, stated.
"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I intend to seriously aim to cause him pain. That's my goal."
Respectful Exchange
Despite these statements, a composed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - typically famous for his dramatics - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul rather criticized former Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "a joke" after Ngannou declined a match opportunity.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, targeted UK rival Tyson Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul outshines Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer stated.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Fighter
Despite declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to speak negatively about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he said.
Jake Paul's Background
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mainly boxed mixed martial artists or faded names since becoming pro.
He was defeated by Briton Fury in 2023.
Commercial Success
Still, the novice remains one of boxing's largest financial successes, consistently making huge financial rewards.
Forecast and Belief
The 28 year old anticipated a KO victory in rounds four or five and claimed he would stop the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently under discussion for 2026.
"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul declared.
Physical Difference
As the two fighters participated in the usual face-off, with their physical disparity on show, it highlighted just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the match is truly going ahead.
